Why Cedar City Riders Trust D&P Performance for UTV, ATV & Powersports Service

If you own a UTV, ATV, or snowmobile in Cedar City, you already know the terrain puts your machine through serious work. Red rock dust from Sand Hollow gets into everything. The altitude changes between town and Cedar Mountain stress your drivetrain. And after a full season of hitting the trails at Duck Creek or Brian Head, your machine needs more than a quick once-over — it needs a shop that actually rides.

That's D&P Performance. We've been Cedar City's powersports service shop since 1978 — nearly five decades of keeping Southern Utah riders on the trail.

Southern Utah terrain puts your machine to the test — D&P Performance keeps it trail-ready.

We Service All Brands — Not Just the Ones We Sell

A lot of riders don't realize this: D&P Performance services every major powersports brand. Can-Am, Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, CFMOTO, Arctic Cat, Suzuki — if it has wheels (or tracks) and a motor, our factory-trained technicians can work on it.

You don't need to haul your Polaris RZR two hours to St. George or up to Provo for factory-certified service. We're right here in Cedar City, and we've seen every issue the Southern Utah riding conditions can throw at a machine.

We service all brands — this Polaris Ranger is getting full service attention at our Cedar City shop.

Three Service Tiers — You Pick What Fits Your Budget

We built our service menu around how Cedar City riders actually use their machines:

Essential Service — The basics done right. Oil and filter change, belt inspection, tire pressure check, and a multi-point visual inspection. Perfect after a season of weekend rides or before you put your machine up for the off-season.

Performance Service — Everything in Essential, plus air filter service, brake inspection, coolant check, and a more thorough drivetrain inspection. This is what we recommend for riders who are putting serious miles on at Sand Hollow, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, or running their machines hard on Cedar Mountain.

Complete Service — The full treatment. Comprehensive fluid replacement, suspension inspection, electrical system check, and detailed documentation of everything we find. If you're prepping for a big trip, selling your machine, or just want peace of mind, this is it.

Factory XPS oil change kits and genuine Can-Am parts — always in stock at D&P Performance.

Every tier includes one thing most shops skip: we call you before doing any work beyond your chosen package. If we find something that needs attention, you'll know about it before we touch it. No surprise charges, no upselling — just honest powersports service.

Seasonal Maintenance That Actually Matters in Southern Utah

Cedar City's riding conditions are unique. We're not in a mild climate where you can skip seasonal maintenance and get away with it. Here's what we see in our shop every year:

Spring (UTV/ATV Season Kickoff)

This is the busiest time in our service department — and for good reason. Machines that sat all winter need a full inspection before they hit the trail. We check for rodent damage (it happens more than you'd think in Iron County garages), dry-rotted seals, battery health, and fluid condition. Booking early is smart — our spring schedule fills up fast.

Spring service season means oil changes, fluid checks, and full inspections before hitting the trails.

Summer (Peak Riding Season)

Sand Hollow trips, Cedar Mountain runs, weekend warrior duty. Your machine is working hard in heat and dust. Mid-season belt checks and air filter service keep you from getting stranded 20 miles from the trailhead.

Summer riding at Coral Pink Sand Dunes demands a machine that's properly maintained.

Fall (Pre-Storage Prep)

Stabilize fuel, fog the engine if needed, pull the battery, and give the machine a proper inspection before it sits for the winter. Skipping this step is how small problems become expensive problems by spring.

Winter (Snowmobile Season)

Ski-Doo and Lynx owners — we're your local service shop for pre-season readiness. Track tension, carbide wear, coolant levels, and electrical checks. Don't wait until the first snowfall to find out something's wrong.

Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobile service — get your sled trail-ready before the first snowfall at Brian Head.

Why a Local Cedar City Powersports Shop Beats the Big-City Dealer

There are a few reasons riders from St. George, Hurricane, Parowan, Kanab, Enoch, and across Iron County and Washington County bring their machines to D&P instead of driving to a big corporate dealership:

Our factory-trained technicians bring decades of hands-on experience to every service job.

We know your riding conditions. Our technicians ride the same trails you do. Brian Head, Duck Creek Village, Sand Hollow, Coral Pink Sand Dunes — we know exactly what those environments do to your machine, and we service accordingly.

We're family-owned. Dean Bulloch started this shop in 1978. The Bulloch family still runs it. When you call, you talk to people who care whether you come back — because their name is on the building.

We don't push unnecessary work. Our quote-before-we-work policy isn't a marketing line. It's how we've operated for 47 years. You approve the work, or we button it back up. Period.

We're here year-round. Some shops are seasonal. We're open all year, handling UTV and ATV service in the warmer months and snowmobile service through the winter.

Detailed suspension inspection — one of many checks in our Performance and Complete service tiers.
