Can-Am Dealer in Utah — One Price, No Hidden Fees

D&P Performance in Cedar City shows the real out-the-door price on every unit. No freight, setup, or doc fees added at the desk.

Why the Sticker Price Isn't the Real Price at Most Dealers

Most Can-Am dealers in Utah advertise MSRP — the manufacturer's suggested retail price. That's the base number before freight, dealer prep, and documentation fees are added. The gap between MSRP and what you actually pay is typically $3,000 to $4,000.

You don't find out about those fees until you're at the desk, excited about the machine, with your trade-in already appraised. By then, it's harder to walk away.

D&P Performance does it differently. We show DSRP — Dealer Suggested Retail Price — on every unit. That number includes freight, setup, and dealer fees already rolled in. The price on the tag is the price on the contract. Government fees (tax, title, registration) are the only addition, and those go to the state.

Typical Wasatch Front Dealer

  • + Advertised MSRP
  • + Freight: $500–$800
  • + Dealer prep: $500–$1,500
  • + Documentation fee: $299–$699
  • + Additional dealer markup (varies)
  • = Surprise total at the desk

D&P Performance

  • = DSRP (includes freight, setup, doc)
  • + Tax, title, registration (state fees)
  • = That's it. No surprises.

Factory Can-Am Service After the Sale

Buying a Can-Am is one decision. Where you get it serviced is another — and it matters more. D&P's service department is factory-authorized with BRP diagnostic tools (BUDS) for warranty work, recalls, and scheduled maintenance on every Can-Am model.

We also service all other brands. Bought a Polaris somewhere else and need clutch work? Bring it in. Honda ATV needing an oil change before hunting season? We do that too. No judgment about where you bought it — just honest work from technicians who've been doing this since 1978.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is D&P's price different from other Can-Am dealers in Utah?

We show DSRP (Dealer Suggested Retail Price) which includes freight, dealer prep, and documentation. Other dealers typically advertise MSRP — the base price before those fees. Our sticker price is the real price; theirs often has $3,000–$4,000 in add-ons revealed at signing.

Is it worth driving to Cedar City from Salt Lake City or Provo?

If you save $3,000–$4,000 on a machine, the 3-hour drive costs you about $50 in fuel. Many riders from the Wasatch Front make the trip specifically for the transparent pricing and no-pressure experience. Call ahead, get the out-the-door number, and decide for yourself.

What Can-Am models do you carry?

We carry the full Can-Am lineup — Maverick X3, Maverick R, Maverick Sport, Maverick Trail, Defender (all HD configs), Commander, Outlander ATVs, and Renegade ATVs. If a specific configuration isn't on the floor, we can order it directly from BRP.

Do you accept trade-ins from other brands?

Yes — Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Arctic Cat, CFMOTO, and any other manufacturer. Ride it in and we'll give you a fair trade value toward your new Can-Am.

Can I get pre-approved for financing before I drive down?

Yes. Get pre-qualified online with a soft credit pull that won't affect your score. Know your budget before making the trip.
